Connections, a Prague journey planner

I was unhappy with missing features in all the public transport planners I've used while living in Prague, so here's my take. I'll let Claude explain the details:

Connections plans journeys on Prague's public transport (PID). What it does that the usual apps don't:

  • How likely each change is. Every connection shows its arrival coloured by how likely you are to make it, and in brackets when you'd arrive if a change fails. At each change it lists the ways on (the next tram, a walk to the metro, or walking the rest), each with its chance and arrival, and what to do if you miss it.
  • Walking between stations. A route can walk from one stop or station to another when that beats waiting. It names the exit out of the metro and the platform to head for, counts stairs and escalators, and goes step-free in wheelchair mode.
  • "I'm on the tram right now." Start from the vehicle you're on, and your phone's position shows how late it really runs, often better than the official feed.

It also shows what hurrying would gain you, can keep time outside short when it's very hot or cold, and is in Czech or English.
